ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Have you always wanted to write a screenplay but found it impossible to start? Have you got one or more started that you never finished? Do you get stuck along the way, bogged down in the details. I get it, so did I. This is not just another screen writing program that is going to tell you all the clever things you’re not doing.
This program is going to look at the beliefs we tell ourselves that stop us from getting the work done. From the first session my intention is to get you writing, creating simple habits to cultivate a committed achievable writing practice. By the end of the program I want people to leave with the belief they can write and have the work to prove it.
It will be a hands on program designed to get you writing each session. Community is one the most important aspects of a sustainable writing practice, so inspiration from your peers in the group will be an integral part of the process.

ABOUT DARIUS
Darius is a SXSW award winning filmmaker who has written and directed two feature films, several short films and multiple documentaries. WHO IS THIS FOR
This program is for anyone who is hungry to develop a committed and holistic writing practice. It isn't exclusively for filmmakers; it's for writers passionate about honing their craft in scene work. We've had interest from a playwright and novelist to join the program and welcome the cross pollination of forms.

The program will offer a dedicated WhatsApp group to build an ongoing community of peers to support and grow together. This will be a key resource from the program.
